Memorial Day 2015

The weather may not have been great, but that did not stop the Dobbelaere family from having a good holiday weekend!  Time at the lake, a ride on the boat, fun with cousins and
a bonfire to keep us warm!

Minneapolis Arboretum (5.19.2015)

The girls had the opportunity to go to the Minneapolis Arboretum with the first grade class at JFK.  Mommy went with Kendall's class earlier in the year on another field trip, so this time she joined Sydney's class.  The class had loads of fun as you can see.  There were Lego art pieces through out the Arboretum that were amazing.  They learned about plants, birds and even got to do some planting themselves.  A great day for all~!

Sydney Gymnastics Superstar (May 2015)

Road Trip to Ohio (3.31 - 4.4.2015)

During the girl's spring break, we took an adventure in the car to Ohio.  What's in Ohio, you ask?  Papa Mike and Grandma Elaine.  The girls did great during his 12 hour drive and were troopers in the car.  While in Ohio we went to a science museum, airplane museum, to a local farm for yummy ice cream.  We also helped Papa with a mower for his tracker and Grandma get some seeds started for her garden.  And we tried some delicious food at a local pub, German restaurant and of course Papa and Grandma's excellent cooking skills.

Thanks Papa and Grandma for a great trip!

Beautiful March Spring Day (3/16/2015)

Us Minnesotan's love it when Mother Nature decide to tease us a bit with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL spring day.  The temp hit 70, the sky was blue, the sun was shining...YES!  The family spent the day running errands and took a bike ride to the park.  Got to enjoy these wonderful days in March, because as we all know...it can still snow.  And it did exactly a week later, dumping 8 inches of wet, heavy snow on us!

Oh well, at least we know it won't be here for long!!!

Feed My Starving Children (3/14/2015)

The girls earned another pedal for their Daisy vest while donating their time to Feed My Starving Children with their Girls Scout Troop.  What a very exciting experience for them, Daddy and Mommy.  We were able to feed many starving children in the Philippines.  We hope to return soon!

First Grade Music Concert (3/10/2015)

The girls, along with their first grade classes, put on a wonderful music concert for us.  The songs were cute, fun and full of life.  Great job girls!

First Grade Field Trip - Open Book (2/25/2015)

I was lucky enough to participate in the girl's first grade field trip.  I was with Kendall's class most of the time, but snuck in a few shots of Sydney as well.  The girls learned about books, printing and how to make paper.  They even made a few pieces of paper while there!

Metropolis Resort (2/13-2/16/2015)
