Happy Memorial Day 2011

We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Although the weather wasn't exactly what we want, it wasn't too bad. We had a wonderful 4 day weekend up at the lake. Unfortunately we did not get the boat in the water, but still managed to enjoy our time with our "seasonal community of friends" and time away from the normal day to day life.

The girls had a blast running around with all their friends. We caught this great picture of Madison and Cameron Lee with the girls on one of their favorite rocks that they love to climb.

We also took time to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and thank all of those that have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.

Is It Seasonal Time Yet??? (5.19.2011)

Happy spring...or winter...or spring...or winter...well what ever Mother Nature decides it should be today. We are wishing and hoping for summer so we can enjoy the few months that we have at the lake. We opened our seasonal on April 15th. To date we've been up to the lake a total of one weekend. With Mother Nature dropping rain on us each and every weekend since, we've opted to stay home. Save money on gas, but mostly for our sanity. Yeah you try to be stuck in a 40 foot camper with two 3 1/2 year olds.

We plan to spend a long weekend there and are keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather! Then we hope to have many weekends up there in June, July and August, the best months of summer.
