Father's Day

What a beautiful day for Father’s Day. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and the temperature was just right! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. For Father’s Day, the girls made daddy a picture that had their feet imprinted on it and even signed daddy’s card.

We spent the day in Hastings with Chad’s grandpa. His uncle, a couple aunts and his mom were there as well. The backyard was set up with tables and chairs, so we could all be outside. Sydney had her first taste of a pickle. Chad’s aunt Margaret has a family recipe for homemade pickles that are out of this world. Well, Syd thought they were pretty good too. I was expecting a funny face from her, but no…she wanted more. She must take after mommy, I love them too!
All in all the day was just perfect. It was a nice relaxing day with family…a great way to celebrate Chad’s first Father’s Day!
